Jonathon Levy's Bio.

 Hello and thank you for landing on my personal website. I am a veteran, a student, a volunteer and a solutions-focused of two disciplines.  I am a certified Adult Development and Facilitation and a Certified Emergency Management Specialist, and both these disciplines work extremely well with each other.  Both work in harmony and uses the skills needed to provide the best product I can.  Whether it is a needs assessment, hazard and threat assessment, business continuity, engaging exercises, and riveting lesson development.  I am dedicated to “getting things done” whether working alone or in a team. My understanding of the unique needs and requirements of a broad range of public, private and community-based organizations allows me to effectively apply the five pillars of emergency management: prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. And to choose the best development styles of either the ADDIE or the SAM methods.    

Using advanced assessments, I am able to identify potential threats, learning needs and implement risk-mitigating solutions while collaborating with a diverse range of clients, colleagues, external partners, subject matter experts and key stakeholders.

I have a proven ability to work effectively in high-stress environments as evidenced by my 20 years’ experience in emergency response planning, personal protection, facilitation, course design, needs assessment and project management. I also possess an academic background in Incident Command, Exercise Design and E-Learning.  I have also run my own LMS and this website to better understand the e-learn environment. 

I am a confident and articulate communicator who simplifies complex issues and develops concrete actions plans.

I enjoy training both youths and adults in various technical and practical topics, including emergency preparedness, leadership, aviation, and survival.
